Skazki Dereva

Skazki Dereva is a family-run toy company from Russia who have been hand making beautiful wooden toys since the 90s. Each toy is carefully painted by hand using non-toxic paints, meaning that each toy is unique. The toys are painted on all sides to keep them three dimensional and the colours are rich but not harsh, blending in peacefully with each other. The toys are very tactile, all the corners are smoothed off but the wood grain texture can still be felt. Each toy is developed with different aspects of child development in mind including speech, fine motor, cognitive, sequencing and imagination.
